Happy Birthday Daddy's Girl!!

Over 7 years ago I met this sassy, 1/2 tomboy 1/2 girly girl, 100% Daddy's Girl - 3 year old girl. She was absolutely adorable & totally wild. Sweet would not be a word I would have used at this point, but hysterically cute would be. One thing was for sure - she knew what she wanted & wasn't afraid to ask demand it! The first time I met her, we went to the zoo. It was a wonderful day, but she cried the entire way home - until I climbed in the back (of my brand new camero *BC = Before Children*) & painted her fingernails.
She really wanted to like me, but she REALLY didn't want her daddy too. LOL Dispite her fragile temperament & protectiveness of her daddy - I fell in love with this little girl & she did with me too. We have this bond that is often tested by the trials that most blended families encounter, but when it is all said & done we can't imagine life without eachother in it. I have watched this little country girl blossom into a beautiful young lady. Our journey has been rough at times, but I know God picked me as her stepmom & her as my daughter for a reason. This past month she has been gone & although our house has been slightly quieter & much less dramatic - I have missed her A WHOLE BUNCH!! I love her with all my heart & wish her the best birthday ever!
