If you give a homeschool mom cookie dough . . .

I'm sure there is an easier way of doing this & we did have a few issues with "making it fit"* (note the cut & paste shape of Taylor's oceans); however, we had fun & they turned out YUMMY!

How To:
I just used our TOG Maps, doubled the size on my copier, & printed for the kids. They cut Japan out, put it on their rolled out cookie dough, used a knife to cut around it, & it was ready to bake. Then we used all the left over cookie dough to make a mat for the ocean (my calculations were off a little). They cooled off & the frosting began. I just bought vanilla frosting & used food coloring (green & blue). We made "C" shape designs in the "ocean" & laid Japan on top. We were going to label, but couldn't find the toothpicks. So, I just used the decorative icing can & labeled "Japan" & the major bodies of water. Then they ate them . . . well, some of them.

Now for the Mustangs' Fish Cookies:

These are super cool! I'm going to tuck this idea away and use it with my littles. I just found you from the TOG loop. Thanks so much for posting!
