Vroom Vroom!! Start your engines . . .
We had a blast during playing with our Cars during C week. I found some great transportation activities at PreKinder. We did these activities as one of my enrichment classes last month & the boys had so much fun we decided to do them again this week.
We played matching games with car colors, we added tires to number sheets, & put together some car puzzles. They separated their cars into categories by size & color, then worked on biggest to smallest. We also played “Red Light, Green Light” which got to be slightly competitive :) We used the circles from another game as steering wheels & they drove their cars all over the place. They even had a some street races! Their favorite was using the cardboard from our IKEA Trofast furniture we used for our workboxes as ramps. They compared which cars would go the fastest/slowest & explained why. Tucker also had a grand ol’ time drawing roads & a mini town with chalk in my office. Trevor was all about the tire tracks in the play dough!
